What is GRS certification?

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification assures that the polyester and/or the cotton are recycled (the polyester is recycled from plastic bottles). The aim of this label is to certify three main points: an effective water treatment, the absence of chemical products during treatments, dyes, cleaning, and the absence of chemical product added against fire and stain. Finally, from a social point of view, this label certifies the workers’ fundamental rights (wage, hour, …). When the polyester fiber is recycled, it is impossible to know if it is recycled.
