What is cretonne cotton?

The cretonne cotton fabric is a fabric a little thicker and less fluid than conventional cotton. It is a resistant canvas that can be used to make clothes, but its main use is usually as furnishing fabric (protective covers for furniture, curtains) or linens (undercovers).
