Ottobre magazine is printed on Finnish paper and certified "Nordic Ecolabel", an environmental label that promotes sustainable product design. The brand wants to encourage readers to sew clothes that match them so that they feel fulfilled and well in their skin!

Magical winter mood

Winter is coming, accompanied by frosts and bad weather. Overlay layers of clothing to keep warm and use materials such as soft jersey, velvet, wool and currently very fashionable, faux fur. Two jogging pants, a velvet chinos, punto di roma pants, snap-fastening pants, a faux-fur and hooded jacket, an aviator-style jacket and several soft sweatshirts. Sizes 86-170 cm.

Bedtime stories

Baby's winter

Babies need practical indoor and outdoor outfits. A wrap-over bodysuit, walking pants, a long-sleeved t-shirt, overalls, two suits, a jumpsuit and a hat. Sizes 56-92 cm.

Friendly forest

We present you the princess pine cone, the fairy of the heather and the beautiful queen of the forest. Beautiful dresses, a faux fur jacket, a wool coat and two warm merino wool vests. Sizes 92-170.

Started as a studio of styling by a single woman in 1987, today Studio Tuumat Oy is a publishing company present on the international market. During its early years, the company provides styling and patronage services to the Finnish textile industry and designs its own collection of children's clothing, colorful and close to nature.

The first OTTOBRE design® kids magazine, specialized in children's sewing patterns, was published in 2000. OTTOBRE femme®, a biannual women's pattern magazine, was launched in 2006 and in November 2017 the offer is enlarged with sewing patterns for the whole family including men.

Realizing a project by hand is a source of balance in our contemporary lifestyle, centered around technology, and a movement advocating the pleasure of creating oneself still thrives.
