What is poplin fabric?

Poplin is a very tightly woven cotton fabric that gives it good quality and a very smooth side. It is a versatile fabric that will allow you to make shirts, light dresses, blouses, tops, etc. The poplin fabric is easy to sew and easy to maintain.
